My arrival in Sydney coincided with the last week of Vivid- an awesome “light up the city” nighttime festival with Sydney’s architectural icons serving as the tableau.  While unplanned, my timing couldn’t have been better.

To give you an idea, here are some pictures from the Sydney Opera House and the Museum of Contemporary Art:

There were some other cool displays too:

Some people say I’m photogenic, so I decided to do some Vivid modelling:

Sydney also happens to be the Capital of the state of New South Wales which means, you guessed it, there’s a legislative building to discover.  This one is quite different architecturally from the outside.  Also, there are no tours, but visitors are welcome to walk in and wander around.

Lastly, what would a trip to Sydney be without a few city walks, including around Bondi, the inner harbour, and the fish market:

After two weeks in Australia, it’s now time to leave.  Hong Kong be warned, Faizel’s on his way.
